Note: Unfortunately, one of API’s that was used to pull images for this project has recently stopped work so none of the artists’ pictures now render. I am heartbroken since the images really made this project dynamic, colorful and standout but stuff happens I guess. It was good while it lasted!
SoundDisco: an artist discovery website that easily and beautifully provides the user with all they need to know about any musical artist. Built with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, API’s from Last.fm, Spotify and Youtube, Javascript & Ajax for the embedded video player, styled with Sass and Bootstrap. Check out the demo on Heroku.
